Open-iSNS vulnerability

A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

- Ubuntu 26.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

Summary:

Open-iSNS could be made to crash if it received specially crafted network
traffic.

Software Description:
- open-isns: Open Source iSNS implementation

Details:

It was discovered that Open-iSNS contained a double-free vulnerability when
decoding malformed iSNS attributes. An unauthenticated attacker could possibly
use this to cause a denial of service.

Update instructions:

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
package versions:

Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
libisns0t64 0.101-0.3ubuntu0.1

Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
