DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in the AOL downloadUpdater2
plugin for Firefox, which can be exploited by malicious people to
compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when handling
"src" attribute in an "embed" element (when "type" is set to
"applicatiotn/x-vend.aol.dnupdater2.1") and can be exploited to cause
a buffer overflow by e.g. tricking a user into visiting a specially
crafted website.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.3.0.0. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
No official solution is currently available.
