A trojan, or trojan horse, is a seemingly legitimate program which secretly performs other, usually malicious, functions. It is usually user-initiated and does not replicate.

Additional DetailsTrojan:JS/Redirector.l may arrive on the computer bundled together with other malicious files, or may be unknowingly downloaded from a compromised or malicious website.

Once installed, the trojan hijacks the browser; users navigating to a particular website are redirected to a pornographic website.
