DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Xen, which can be exploited by
malicious, local users in a guest virtual machine to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to the "arch_set_info_guest()"
function in xen/arch/x86/domain.c not properly verifying that a valid
usermode pagetable has been provided, which can be exploited to e.g.
cause a lockup of the host system.
Successful exploitation requires a x86_64 system.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the Mercurial repository.
