DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus,
which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection
attacks.
Certain input passed to the Web GUI is not properly sanitised before
being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL
queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 7.3.0.
SOLUTION:
Apply APAR IZ83269 or update to version 7.3.0 Fix Pack 4
(7.3.0-TIV-NCOMNIbus_GUI-FP0004).
