DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in the Linux Kernel, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the epoll
implementation, which can be exploited to cause a high CPU
consumption via nested epoll structures.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.6.37. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted users only.
