DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in OpenBSD, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when handling multiple
RPC requests and can be exploited to crash the portmap daemon via
specially crafted packets sent to TCP port 111.

Successful exploitation requires portmap (required for NFS) to be
enabled (disabled by default).

The vulnerability is confirmed in versions 5.1 and 5.2. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
No official solution is currently available.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
