DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Samba, which can be exploited by
malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in process.c when
handling Any Batched (AndX) request packets and can be exploited to
cause a heap-based buffer overflow.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 3.4.0.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.4.0 or later or apply patch.
