DESCRIPTION:
Maksymilian Arciemowicz has discovered a weakness in FreeBSD, which
can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The weakness is caused due to an insufficient GLOB_LIMIT
implementation in the ftpd daemon, which can be exploited to exhaust
memory or cause a high CPU load via specially crafted patterns in
commands passed to the ftpd server.

The weakness is confirmed in version 9.1-RELEASE. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
No official solution is currently available.
