DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in CA ARCserve Backup, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to network traffic not being properly
handled, which can be exploited to cause the network services to stop
responding via specially crafted requests.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 12.0, 12.5, 15, and 16.

SOLUTION:
Update or upgrade to a fixed version or install patch.
