DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in Portable OpenSSH, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to disclose sensitive
information.
The security issue is caused due to "ssh-keysign" leaking file
descriptors when executing the "ssh-rand-helper" utility, which can
be exploited to disclose private keys.
Successful exploitation requires that the system does not provide a
built-in source for randomness (e.g. "/dev/random").
Note: Reportedly, Mac OS X, Cygwin, Linux, and BSD-based platforms
are not affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to Portable OpenSSH 5.8p2 or apply patch.
