DESCRIPTION:
High-Tech Bridge SA has reported multiple vulnerabilities in
Open-Realty, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL
injection attacks and by malicious people to conduct cross-site
scripting attacks.
1) Input passed via the "name", "email", "friend_email", "subject",
and "message" parameters (when action is set to "contact_friend"),
the "listing_id", "comments", and "source" parameters (when "action"
is set to "contact_agent"), the "query" parameter (when "action" is
set to "save_search"), and the "searchtext" parameter to index.php is
not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed via the "path" parameter to
include/class/ckeditor/custom/filemanager/connectors/php/filemanager.php
is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can
be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.
3) Input passed via the "type" parameter to admin/index.php (when
"action" is set to "edit_user_template") is not properly sanitised
before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.
4) Input passed via the "type" parameter to admin/index.php (when
"action" is set to "edit_user_template") is not properly sanitised
before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate
SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires an agent with
edit user template permissions or an admin account.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions 3.1.5 and prior.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.1.6.
