DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in cgit, which can be exploited by
malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an off-by-one error within the
"convert_query_hexchar()" function in html.c, which can be exploited
to trigger an infinite loop by e.g. requesting certain specially
crafted URLs.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 0.8.3.5.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 0.8.3.5.
