DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in super, which can be exploited
by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the
"Error()" function (error.c), which can be exploited to cause a
stack-based buffer overflow via overly long command line parameters.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.30.0. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted users only.
