DESCRIPTION:
A weakness has been reported in the Linux Kernel, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to disclose potentially sensitive
information.
The weakness is caused due to the "ptrace_setxregs()" function in
arch/xtensa/kernel/ptrace.c not properly verifying the provided
pointers, which can be exploited to disclose kernel memory.
NOTE: This only affects the Xtensa architecture.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the GIT repository.
