DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IBM Tivoli Management Framework,
which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable
system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the lcfd
endpoint daemon when processing certain arguments. This can be
exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially
crafted HTTP request.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 4.1, 4.1.1, and 4.3.1.
SOLUTION:
Apply APAR IZ90238 or apply patches.
