DESCRIPTION:
Robert Gilbert has reported a vulnerability in Nexpose, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site request forgery
attacks.
The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP
requests to the Security Console without performing proper validity
checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to e.g. delete a
site when a logged-in user visits a specially crafted web page.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 5.5.4.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 5.5.4.
PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
