DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been discovered in ThinVNC Pro, which can be
exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.
The security issue is caused due to the application not
authenticating certain web requests and can be exploited to bypass
the authentication mechanism and download arbitrary files by
submitting requests to the "/ft/" URL.
The security issue is reported in version 2.0.0.1 and confirmed in
version 2.0.0.16. Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted hosts only.
