DESCRIPTION:
Sense of Security has reported multiple vulnerabilities in Sun
GlassFish Enterprise Server, which can be exploited by malicious
people to conduct cross-site scripting and script insertion attacks.

1) Input passed via the "windowTitle" and "helpFile" parameters to
help/helpwindow.jsf is not properly sanitised before being returned
to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and
script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.

2) Input passed via the login field when logging in to the
Administration component is not properly sanitised in the log viewer
before being displayed to the user. This can be exploited to insert
arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's
browser session when the malicious data is being viewed.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 2.1.1. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Apply updates (please see the vendor's advisory for details).
