DESCRIPTION:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Microsoft Windows,
which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated
privileges and by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service)
and compromise a user's system.

1) A NULL-pointer dereference error in the win32k.sys driver can be
exploited to execute arbitrary code in kernel mode.

2) An error in the win32k.sys driver when performing type translation
can be exploited to cause a system hang via a specially crafted
TrueType font file.

3) An error in the win32k.sys driver when handling certain font files
can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a specially crafted
".fon" font file.

4) A use-after-free error in the win32k.sys driver when handling
certain driver objects can be exploited to execute arbitrary code in
kernel mode.

Successful exploitation of vulnerabilities #1, #3, and #4 allows
execution of arbitrary code.

SOLUTION:
Apply patches.
