DESCRIPTION:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in EMC Autostart, which
can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service) and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to unspecified errors and can be
exploited to cause buffer overflows via specially crafted messages.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 5.4.1.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 5.4.1 available via Powerlink.
