DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in the WP-DBManager plugin for
WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site request forgery attacks and disclose sensitive
information.
1) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP
requests without performing any validity checks to verify the
requests. This can be exploited to e.g. inject and execute arbitrary
shell commands if a logged-in administrative user visits a malicious
web site.
2) Input passed via the "database_file" parameter to
wp-admin/admin.php (when "page" is set to
"wp-dbmanager/database-manage.php" and "do" is set to "Download") is
not properly verified before being used to download files. This can
be exploited to download arbitrary files from local resources via
directory traversal sequences.
NOTE: This vulnerability only affects versions prior to 2.61.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.62.
