DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in TORQUE Resource Manager, which
can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the authentication
mechanism, which does not properly verify the "PBS_O_HOST" variable of
the client submitting a job request. This can be exploited to bypass
the authentication mechanism and submit a job for an arbitrary
client.

The vulnerability is reported versions 2.5.7 and prior.

SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted hosts only.
