Additional DetailsBackdoor:W32/Haxdoor is a family of malicious remote administration programs (RAT) that are commonly used by attackers to steal sensitive information - passwords, account details, etc - from infected systems. Later variants in the Haxdoor family also engage in attacks against online payment systems and banking portals.

While active on the infected computer, Haxdoor variants can perform a variety of malicious actions, including killing processes, blocking connections to sites and so on.

Some Haxdoor variants also include rootkit capabilities and are able to hide their presence and actions on the computer system.
