A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

Summary:
Several security issues were fixed in ClamAV.
Software Description:
- clamav: Anti-virus utility for Unix
Details:
USN-3393-1 fixed several vulnerabilities in ClamAV. This update
provides the corresponding update for Ubuntu 12.04 ESM.
Original advisory details:
=C2=A0It was discovered that ClamAV incorrectly handled parsing certain=C2=
=A0
=C2=A0e- mail messages. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to
=C2=A0cause ClamAV to crash, resulting in a denial of service.=C2=A0
=C2=A0(CVE-2017-6418)

=C2=A0It was discovered that ClamAV incorrectly handled certain malformed
=C2=A0CHM files. A remote attacker could use this issue to cause ClamAV to
=C2=A0crash, resulting in a denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrar=

=C2=A0code. This issue only affected Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. In the default
=C2=A0installation, attackers would be isolated by the ClamAV AppArmor
=C2=A0profile. (CVE-2017-6419)

=C2=A0It was discovered that ClamAV incorrectly handled parsing certain PE
=C2=A0files with WWPack compression. A remote attacker could possibly use
=C2=A0this issue to cause ClamAV to crash, resulting in a denial of service=
