SOLVED: su command not found

[mister_v]

Hi,

suddenly the program su doesn't exists anymore.
error message:

Code: Select all

command not found

Anyone has had this problem?

I had the same problem on Gentoo server.
turns out it was a update that went wrong.

recompiling shadow and util-linux solved the problem:

emerge -vp shadow util-linux

su flag is missing in sys-apps/shadow and is included in sys-apps/util-linux
