Summary:
A potential vulnerability in RSA Authentication Manager 8.0 and RSA Authentication Manager 8.1 may allow remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks.

Details:
A potential vulnerability in RSA Authentication Manager 8.0 and RSA Authentication Manager 8.1 may allow remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks. The attacker can specify the location of the arbitrary site in the unvalidated parameter of a crafted URL. If this URL is accessed, the browser is redirected to the arbitrary site specified in the parameter.

Recommendation:
Patch 6 for RSA Authentication Manager 8.1 contains a fix for this issue. RSA recommends that all customers upgrade to Patch 6 at the earliest opportunity.

RSA Authentication Manager 8.0 customers should upgrade to version 8.1 and then download Patch 6 for version 8.1.
