Summary:
EMC DFS may be vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability which can be potentially leveraged by a malicious authenticated user to compromise the affected system.

Details:
EMC DFS may be vulnerable to XXE vulnerability due to the way the JAXB XML parser handles the incoming XML from an authenticated user. This can be potentially leveraged by a malicious authenticated user to inject malicious data in the XML and retrieve information from sensitive files on the system. This may also be potentially leveraged to affect the Integrity and Availability of the system.

Resolution:
The following products contain the resolution to this issue:
• EMC DFS 6.6 P39 and later
• EMC DFS 6.7 SP1 P28 and later
• EMC DFS 6.7 SP2 P15 and later
• EMC My Documentum for Desktop 6.7.2P15 and later
• EMC My Documentum for Microsoft Outlook 6.7SP1P28, 6.7SP2P15, 6.7.1P29, 6.7.3 (Hotfix)
• EMC CenterStage 1.2SP2P06 , 1.2SP1 (HotFix)

EMC recommends all customers upgrade to the fixed versions listed above at the earliest opportunity.
