This threat can create files on your PC, including:

  • %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\yragnels.dat
  • %SystemRoot%\syswow\cmdl.exe


It modifies the registry so that it runs each time you start your PC. For example:

In subkey: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Sets value: "fixmapi"
With data: "%SystemRoot%\syswow\cmdl.exe"
In subkey: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{YIU2143M-37VR-MWYU-DWKU-HBT7EB777YTD}
Sets value: "StubPath"
With data: "%SystemRoot%\syswow\cmdl.exe restart"
